The Event of Mubahila (3:61)

When the Prophet was in a debate with the Christians of Narjan, the following verse was revealed to him:
"Say: 'Come and let us call our children and your children, our women and your women, ourselves and yourselves, and let us take pray, invoking Allah's curse on those who lie'" (3:61).
The Prophet took:
Fatima (A.S) - as the 'Women'
Hassan and Hussein (A.S) - as his 'Children'
and Himself and Ali (A.S) as 'Yourselves'
