A tale kind of off the beaten path for Mr. King, of a man who finds himself in a unique but terrifying set of circumstances that may lead to his death - or is he dead already?
Autopsy Room Four was originally published in Robert Bloch's 'Psychos' and then in Stephen King's 'Everything's Eventual - 14 Dark Tales' in 2002. So far it seems to be everyone's favorite, and the most viewed story in my collection.

While the Peruvian Boomslang does not exist, Mr. King read an Agatha Christie novel that featured a snake called a Boomslang and liked the word, so he used it.
