Update October 10th, 2016:
Monster Hurricane Matthew's death toll climbs and it's tail roars as it's force was downgraded today to a tropical cyclone.
It's latest course was that it was heading back to sea.

Life-threatening situations continue to emerge due to flash-floods after the storm and the failure & shutting down of utilities.

A Humanitarian Crisis:
Hurricane Matthew left a devastating trail across the entire Caribbean (Jamaica, Bahamas, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Nassau,Trinidad & Tobago, killing over 1000 people) and along the south-east coast of the United States. Millions of people evacuated their homes and many continue to be on high alert. It is estimated that roughly 1.5 million residential and other properties have been severly damaged. Doctors are warning of outbreaks of cholera and other serious health-situations. Haiti was especially hit hard after they just recovered from a big earthquake, and being one of the poorest countries on the planet; where some people have to survive on only a few dollars a month, recovery takes time.

President Obama spoke about disaster relief and support from FEMA and local officials, and urged citizens to listen to officials.

Hurricane Matthew was the 5th tornado of the tornado season, and was mentioned by meteorologists as a wet, wild and weird hurricane and that its path has been harder to predict than that of other storms.

In its heels is another hurricane brewing across the ocean.
Her name is "Nicole" and is now moving northward and this general motion will continue the next several days, sending it toward Bermuda (10-10-2016).
