While rising the spiritual ranks, saints pass through the ranks of the Mahdi and Khidr

ADNAN OKTAR: Regarding Khidr, Said Nursi makes the following statement in the 29th Letter: "There are some ranks among the saint ranks that are associated with certain reputed individuals, which carries the characteristics of the position of Mahdi, a likeness to the Greatest Mentor, and a peculiar connection to Hizir." There are ranks related to certain well-known people. "There are some ranks among saint ranks;" rank of Mahdi is one them. While rising through the ranks, the members of religious orders reach the rank of Mahdi. At that point, they deem themselves the Mahdi. Up until now, almost all of them have gone through this phase. They begin to develop a demeanor that is peculiar to the Mahdi. For example there are also ranks of Uwais and Khidr. For example, when an individual reaches the rank of Khidr, he deems himself to be Khidr until he rises above that rank. And he reaches the rank of Khidr, he develops a demeanor similar to Khidr. Al-Imam ar-Rabbani explains this in greater detail. Maktubat al-Rabbani contains chapters concerning Hazrat Mahdi (as) and Khidr.
