http://www.motorbeam.com tests the all new Maruti Celerio, a vehicle which replaces the Zen Estilo and A-Star in the Indian market while also replacing the Alto and Splash (Ritz) in global markets. The Celerio is offered with only a single engine option but comes mated to both 5-speed manual and 5-speed automated manual transmission, the latter is a cost effective automatic transmission, which Maruti Suzuki calls EZ Drive.

The Maruti Celerio comes loaded with many features and is available in six variants, however ABS and dual airbags are optional. These safety features are not available on the Auto Gear Shift version. Maruti Suzuki will price the Celerio aggressively to take on the Hyundai Grand i10.
