Ford EcoSport Road Test Review

Ford is offering the EcoSport with three engines, a 1.0-litre EcoBoost with 125 PS of power, a 1.5-litre petrol with 112 PS of power and a 1.5-litre diesel with 91 PS of power. All these engines in the Ford EcoSport offer very good performance. The Ford EcoSport was first showcased in India at the 2012 Auto Expo. Ford India is yet to announce the prices of the EcoSport but one can expect the base variant of the EcoSport to be priced around the Rs. 6.5 lakh mark (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Ford EcoSport comes with a host of features, including ESP, Hill Hold Assist, SYNC, climate control, 6 airbags, ABS, EBD, steering mounted audio controls, etc. The EcoSport is offered in 4 variants in India. The Ford EcoSport returns an ARAI certified mileage of 18.9 km/l (EcoBoost); 15.8 km/l (1.5 Petrol MT), 15.6 km/l (1.5 Petrol AT); 22.7 km/l (1.5 Diesel). The Ford EcoSport rivals the Renault Duster.
