After rain engulfed the starting games of BPL, the management was forced to reschedule the whole tournament. Today is the inaugural game of Bangladesh Premier League between Comilla and Chittagong. Comilla Victorians, the defending champions, have some wonderful players among their ranks. They played well in the previous season and became champions after they beat Barisal Bulls in the final.
In 2015 edition of BPL, Comilla Victorians won 7 out of the 10 games they played. Although Rangpur Riders and Barisal Bulls also won 7 matches each but final round of the race was claimed by Comilla. Chittagong Vikings, on the other hand, remained at the bottom of points table with only 2 wins in 10 matches. However they made some important changes in this edition to show better performance.
Vikings now own some grand names like West Indies duo Chris Gayle and Dwayne Smith. These dangerous batsmen can change the whole scenario within the span of a few overs.

Shoaib Malik, Granyt Elliott, Jeevan Mendis, Chaturanga de Silva and Mohammad Nabi are some valuable additions to the squad. With such names, this team will be very difficult to defeat.
Comilla Victorians also have some big names like Jason Holder, Imad Wasim, Imrul Kayes, Sohail Tanvir, Kulasekara and Thisara Perera. Most probably, it will be a great match to watch because both teams are equipped with very lethal weapons for T20 format of cricket.

He was the 3rd highest run scorer of the last BPL with 279 runs from 13 matches.
