SBI Q2 Earnings

State Bank of India, the country’s largest lender, on Friday reported nearly 35 per cent drop in bottomline for the quarter ended September 30, 2016, thanks to an 80 per cent year-on-year rise in provisions and contingencies. After the earnings, shares of the bank plunged as much as 4 per cent to Rs 270.70. The scrip had closed at Rs 281.60 on Thursday. ET NOW gets you more details.
