Donald Trump critics are saying Sinclair Lewis’ novel It Can’t Happen Here, published in 1935, predicted the President-elect's rise in politics. The satirical novel has already sold out on major online book retailers, such as Amazon and Books-a-Million. The novel, which was written as Adolf Hitler rose to power, follows the story of Buzz Windrip who starts a fascist takeover in America. Critics of Trump are comparing him to Windrip, who appeals to voters through his anti-immigrant and racist rhetoric.
