The Trump Foundation admitted to having engaged in self-dealing in 2015 and prior years in an Internal Revenue Service filing. According to the document obtained by Guidestar, self-dealing can lead to additional taxes and penalties, resulted from payments to “disqualified persons,” or foundation insiders. The Trump Foundation has admitted in the past to making an improper donation to a political group associated with Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi in 2013.
