Akshay Kumar, who is known for performing his own action scenes with effortless ease in all of his films, had a tough time doing his stunts in his upcoming film ‘Gabbar Is Back’, in which he plays a vigilante.
Confirming the news, the ‘Khiladi’ said that as he is playing a very powerful personality in the film, he was required to bulk up and had to put on around 15-16 kgs, which affected his ability to perform his own stunts to a certain degree. Akshay added that despite this, he insisted on doing his own stunts and refused to let the director use any computer graphics.
The remake of a South flick named ‘Ramanna’, ‘Gabbar Is Back’ also stars Shruti Haasan and Jaideep Ahlawat among others. The film is slated to release next weekend.
