Shahid Kapoor and Kangana Ranaut walked away with the Best Actor and Best Actress awards respectively, but it was Salman Khan who won the hearts at the recently held 60th Filmfare awards. The Bhai of Bollywood performed on jumme ki raat and hangover teri yaadon ka and also played a small romantic part with Deepika Padukone.
Infact Salman even re-enacted Shah Rukh Khan's iconic 'arm spread' step onstage and Karan Johar, Kapil Sharma and Sidharth Malhotra then joined him in biting Dippy's long flowing white gown with their teeth. The performance was choreographed by ace choreographer Remo D'Souza. Spunky and sassy Alia Bhatt paid a tribute to women by performing on a mashup of songs from Queen, Highway, Mardaani and Mary Kom.
While Shahid Kapoor received the best actor award for his performance in Haider, Kangana Ranaut bagged the best actress award for her blockbuster film Queen. Vikas Bahl's Queen bagged the maximum number of awards, including best actress, film, director, background score, cinematography and editing. Fawad Khan won the Best Newcomer Male Award for Khoobsurat , while Kriti Sanon won the Best Newcomer Female Award for Heropanti. The show was hosted by comedian Kapil Sharma and Dharma head honcho Karan Johar.
