In 2013 the two musicians Stephan Mueller (Steve AD) and Guenther Hesselbarth (Gunhardt), who knew each other from their time together with the rather fast-resolved project "Stillwater", met with the producer and audio engineer Thomas Foerster (Thommy Silence), who contacted them by a search ad of Steve.
After some jam sessions, where already early versions of "Thrill In My Veins", „Blackned Scars“ and „Endless Obsession“ were played, they decided to take on a bigger challenge and started producing demos for the album Mindcraft A.D. . During the production, all three musicians were the composers of the most songs, while most of the lyrics were written by the lead singer Steve A.D. . The singer and dancer Svenja Niedergriese (Svahara Aicanar), who lived in a relationship with the 10 years younger Steve A.D. at the time, contributed lyrics and joined some songs as a background singer. Thommy Silence, the producer, took over almost the entire instrumentalisation and mixing and mastering of the album.
The final recordings were done in Thommy‘s home studio and in his cooperative Studio&Mastering House in Berlin. As a studio drummer Thommy could win the studio musician Heinrich vom Entenfang, with whom he already worked together in many other productions. Also the sporadically occurring strings and brass in some songs were recorded by guest musicians. In contrast to the songwriting, Gunhardt was only able to join the recordings in a few takes.
Finishing the production in late 2016 the selftitled Album Mindcraft A.D. was first released on 15.02.2017 with worldwide distribution.
