Deepika Padukone: 'Ranbir Kapoor and my friendship is like wine'

Former lovers Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor, who will be sharing screen space in Karan Johar's upcoming production venture 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani', claim that they are very good friends now.
At a recently held event, when the duo was asked if their new friendship is the start of a new beginning, Ranbir said, "Our friendship began long back and we don't think we need a friendship band to prove that. Our friendship began five years back, so there's no beginning there's only continuation."
Deepika however interjected Kapoor in between and said, "Our friendship is like wine, it only gets better with age. We have been friends for a very very long time."
Directed by Ayan Mukerji, 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani' stars Kalki Koechlin and Aditya Roy Kapur alongside Deepika and Ranbir and is slated to hit the theaters on May 31, this year.
