Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who recently turned 47, will be next seen playing the role of an Army officer in upcoming romance flick Jab Tak Hai Jaan and the 'King Khan' claims that he is quite happy to play a military officer if it inspires the youth to join the armed forces.
During a media interaction on his birthday, Khan said, "I am glad that I am playing an army officer in the film. I feel good that by portraying characters from armed forces in our films, hopefully, we can popularize the armed forces because our army, navy and air force is beyond profession, it's a dedication."
SRK also added that while shooting for the movie in Ladakh, he met quite a few army officers, who seemed pleased that the actor is playing a military officer as they felt it would inspire youngsters to opt for a career in the armed forces.
