Katrina Kaif Sacrificed 'Gunday' Role For 'Knight And Day' Remake, Claim Sources

We had reported a couple of days back that actress Priyanka Chopra and not Katrina Kaif has been chosen as the female lead opposite Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh in YRF flick 'Gunday'. Sources close to Kaif now claim that the pretty actress decided to turn down the role as she had already committed her dates to the Bollywood remake of Hollywood flick 'Knight And Day', which would star Hrithik Roshan. It seems that Kaif was quite impressed with the script of 'Gunday' and was keen on doing the film, but the clashing of dates left her with no option but opting for the remake. 'Knight And Day' starred Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz and was an action-comedy-romance about a spy on the run, who meets a woman he later falls in love with.
