LONDON: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that Pakistan is being discussed in a positive manner as the country is progressing at a rapid pace, ARY News reported on Saturday.
The prime minister was talking to media in London after returning from Switzerland. Sharif said that he held useful talks with world leaders in the three-day 2017 World Economic Forum in Davos.
He said, “Today, Pakistan is positively being discussed in the world as the country is making progress at a fast pace.”
PM Sharif also said that everyone is praising improvement in the economic sector of Pakistan. He added, “By the grace of Almighty Allah, terrorism has been eradicated from the country. Our economic indicators are positive, which everyone is aware of.”
The prime minister said that the reason of increase in foreign investment in Pakistan is because its economy is on the right path.
He said that some elements in the country are not happy with the economic development. “We all must utilize all our chances in order to take the country forward,” the premier added.
PM Nawaz refused to answer a question regarding the ongoing Panamagate Case by stating that he would not comment on the issue as it is being heard in the Supreme Court.
