A believer’s love is for the sake of God

Adnan Oktar: Believers love women for their spirit and piety, and when you love someone for the sake of God, it does not matter if she is missing a limb. But that is not the case for those who do not live by the Quran; they immediately divorce their wives in such a circumstance. In fact, we witness similar occurrences among the socialites; when a woman becomes sick in any way or loses an organ, their husbands immediately divorce them and give them the gate. They leave their wives when they become older or when they give birth. I’ve been telling how wrong this is this for years based on the Quran. The Quran tells this to us. A believer should love another believer for the sake of God. For example, the companions would lose their eyes or their noses in battle but their wives would still love them passionately. And occasionally, the wives of the companions would get injured in battle as well but their husbands would still love them dearly. However, this characteristic is exclusive to Muslims. Otherwise, that is not the case for those who do not live by the Quran. If the woman has good moral values, is affectionate and a believer, the man should take care of her as marriage is based on a guardianship system. Guardianship means protecting and watching over your wife in any case. The believers give their lives to protect the other fellow believers for the sake of God.
