1st Century Followers of Christ Never Denounced the Word Christian [Part 2 of 2]

Apostle Reginald M. Graham discusses how the title of Christian has lost its value and power in the hearts and minds of the world's population. During the time of Jesus Christ, professing Christians wore the title of Christian like it was a badge of honor. People were actually willing to die for the faith as evidenced by those who refused to submit to the wicked emperor Constantine's decree that the Holy Sabbath be changed from Saturday to Sunday. Furthermore, all of Jesus' disciples died defending the gospel in an attempt to teach the people how to live according to God's will. It did not matter how many people ridiculed or persecuted them because they realized that their efforts to preach the word of God would not be in vain and would be rewarded with salvation. Christianity and the Christians who loyally adhered to it cherished God and the faith.

In modern times, though, people are ashamed to be labeled as Christians given the hypocrisy that has been propagated by the Roman Catholic Church and her countless daughter religions. As such, Christianity is viewed as the most hated and convoluted religion known today. The word of God has never changed since its true beginnings, but it has definitely had its fair share of sabotages at the hands of false religions and the misbegotten churches and pastors that promote such devious messages. Many of those who profess to be Christians in modern society contradict what God's word says as written in the Holy Bible. Needless to say, there are only a remnant few who choose to devote themselves to the true Christian faith and live according to God's word.
