This three-ingredient bourbon and ginger ale tipple is arguably the easiest drink in the world to create, but top San Francisco bartender Erik Adkins' version, using a homemade ginger syrup, kicks it up a few notches. In this video, Adkins show you how to fix both.

2 oz Scotch (may substitute bourbon or rye whiskey)
Ginger ale
Club soda
Glass: Collins
