Harvard Law School is making a major change to its admissions policy

It just got a lot easier to apply to Harvard Law. The school announced a pilot program that waives the notoriously difficult and pricey LSAT exam. Applicants can submit results from the GRE instead, which is a general test used for many master's programs. The initiative is part of a broader strategy to encourage a larger population of students to apply to the Law School. “Harvard Law School is continually working to eliminate barriers as we search for the most talented candidates for law and leadership,” Law School Dean Martha L. Minow said in a press release. “For many students, preparing for and taking both the GRE and the LSAT is unaffordable. All students benefit when we can diversify our community in terms of academic background, country of origin, and financial circumstances.”
