Aishwarya Rai’s father Krishnaraj Rai passes away after prolonged illness

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s father Krishnaraj Rai breathed his last today in Mumbai’s Lilawati hospital. He was in a critical state since a few weeks and was put on ventilator.
Reportedly, Aishwarya’s father had cancer in the past and he likely had a recurrence. He was supposed to return home a couple of weeks back but due to the critical condition, he was shifted to the ICU.
Doctor said that he was suffering from lymphoma cancer which spread to his brain. Today somewhere around 4pm he passed away. He was admitted 3 weeks back.
