These Warehouse Robots Are Seriously Strong

by Anthony FalcoA new warehouse robot is the strong and silent type. Fetch Robotics just introduced two new autonomous freight robots that can avoid obstacles thanks to a 3D camera and light detection software. The robots can carry up to 3,300 pounds.This is hardly the first time robots have been used in warehouses. Clearpath’s OTTO is a self-driving robot that was introduced in 2015. Amazon also currently employs about 45,000 robots across 20 warehouses.
