Kassim Ahmad - Religious Autonomy

Muslim scholar Dr Kassim Ahmad has said that all religions in Malaysia including Islam should be run by its adherents and not the state.

The controversial 83-year-old thinker said this in a public talk at the Boundaries of Disbelief exhibition in Kuala Lumpur on April 16, 2017.

The rare public appearance of the former ISA detainee who wrote "Hadis: Satu Penilaian Semula" (Hadith: A Revaluation) book attracted a number of people who also asked questions at the two hour talk.
