Mayawati reveals why she always read written speeches. She informed that she underwent major throat surgery in 1996 in which doctors eliminate fully damaged gland from her throat. She said that if she speak in speeches without writing it than, she will have to speak loudly and doctor advised her not to speak in loud voice.

मायावती ने लिखे हुए भाषण पढ़ने के आरोपों का जवाब देते हुए खुलासा किया कि वर्ष 1996 में उनके गले का बड़ा आपरेशन हुआ था और पूरी तरह खराब हो चुका एक ग्लैंड डॉक्टरों ने निकाल दिया था. उन्होंने कहा कि बिना लिखा भाषण देने में उंचा बोलना पड़ता है लेकिन डॉक्टरों ने ऐसा नहीं करने की सलाह दी है.
