Borneo firefighters risk their lives battling a never-ending inferno | Coconuts TV

These are the brave men of the Bukit Tunggal District Fire Assault Squad. Every day, these volunteers risk their lives to put out some of the largest and most toxic fires on the planet. This year, the annual haze fires are worse than even and much of Borneo is choked in a thick blanket of smog. In this video we follow one firefighter - Yanto - on an average day of firefighting in his province of Central Kalimantan. Borneo's forest fires aren’t showing any signs of slowing down, but wherever there’s fire, the Yanton and the Bukit Tunggal District Fire Assault Squad will be there to put it out.
