Punjab Police gets dragged along with car to catch drug peddler | Oneindia News

In an attempt to catch drug peddler, an assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of the Punjab Police was dragged off for a distance as he remained clinged to the bonnet of a drug smuggler's car in Ludhiana. ASI Sanjeev Kumar was attempting to catch hold of drug peddler Sunny Doda who was fleeing with his car in Shimalpuri area. In CCTV footage Kumar can be clearly seen being dragged along the fast moving vehicle as he remained clinging to the bonnet. The police have launched a hunt to nab the drug peddler. Drug peddlers have their own network and it is tough to breach the network. There is always a possibility of backlash from drug peddlers, sometimes they fight or sometime they try to escape. Taking action against them is not possible without team work but Kumar reall;y exhibited courage.
