CONFIRMED! Shraddha Kapoor to play lead role in Saina Nehwal’s biopic

It’s a good news for Shraddha Kapoor fans as after her upcoming flick ‘Haseena: the queen of Mumbai’, the actress is all set to work in another biopic, and that’s of badminton champion Saina Nehwal. Yes, it’s true.
Recently in an interview with a leading tabloid, the actress said:
“Most girls have played badminton at some point in their lives in school. I feel so lucky to be playing Saina, who’s not just been the world’s No. 1 badminton player, but is also a youth icon. I can’t wait to start prepping for my role.”
Exciting! Isn’t it?
Well, not just reel life but also real life Saina is very much eager for the film. She said, “Whoa! That’s news to me. It’s great if Shraddha plays me because she is a very talented actress and very hardworking. A lot of people did tell me that we do look similar and I think that’s a huge compliment, because Shraddha is very good looking.”
The biopic will be directed by Amole Gupte and is expected to hit the screens in 2018
