18-Wheeler Catches Fire Along Interstate 12, Causing Traffic Backup

An 18-wheeler caught fire along the Interstate 12 in Slidell, Louisiana, causing a traffic backup and spewing black plumes of smoke into the air.This footage shows the fire and the traffic jam.The St. Tammany Fire Protection District Facebook page posted that local crews were on the scene, and that the fire had occurred at mile marker 78. One person had been airlifted to hospital.
