7th Pay Commission to recommend 22% salary hike

The 7th Pay Commission is likely to recommend a 22-23 per cent jump in their salary and allowances today, according to the sources. The recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission are scheduled to take effect from January 1, 2016. If implemented this revised pay scale is going to benefit 48 Lakhs central government employees and 55 Lakhs pensioners.
