Man rescues tiny shark

A cool video has emerged from South Africa of a man rescuing a small catshark which had become trapped in a rock pool at low tide.

In the clip, which was filmed in Port Alfred on April 28, the man catches the shark by hand and carries it form the enclosed pool to one with access to the open sea, where he releases it.

Catsharks are ground sharks of the family Scyliorhinidae. Confusingly, they are often known as dogfish.
