Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday unveiled a new microsite dedicated to the International Yoga Day that his government plans to observe in a grand manner on June 21. The microsite, a part of the external affairs ministry’s website, provides details about programmes to be conducted across the world on yoga day and later. June 21 was named the International Yoga Day by the UN following support from 177 countries. Modi will lead ministers and bureaucrats in performing yoga at Delhi’s Rajpath. The Indian Army too is drawing up extensive programmes to observe the day.
