Smoke Fills Atlanta's MARTA Train, Prompts Evacuation

A MARTA train was filled with smoke while traveling between Midtown and North Avenue stations in Atlanta, Georgia, on May 4.MARTA Public Information officer Erik Burton told Atlanta-based WSB-TV that the train caught fire.Passengers were evacuated and had to walk to the next station. The incident caused delays along the Gold and Red lines, according to local reports.
