Thousands of women took to the streets of Caracas on Saturday, May 6, to ask for peace in Venezuela. The march, organized by the opposition, called on women to dress white and bring white flowers.These videos show demonstrators singing the country’s national anthem while marching, sitting on Francisco Fajardo Highway, one of Caraca’s busiest streets, and discussing with national guard officers.Anti-government protests also took place in the the states of Aragua, Táchira, Cumaná and Falcón, according to reports.Pro-government women also marched in Caracas, according to reports.By Friday, May 5, 37 people had been killed during anti-government protests in Venezuela over the past weeks.
