Thousands Hold up Lights at Caracas Candlelight Protest

Chants of “liberty” echoed around Parque Cristal in Caracas, Venezuela, as thousands of protesters came together at nightfall with candles and lights to protest against what they call the “dictatorship” of President Nicolas Maduro.Reports say 43 people have been killed since the protests gained momentum in late March, further fueling anger towards Maduro and the government of Venezuela.
