A dramatic video has emerged of a cyclist falling off his bike as a taxi passenger hits him with the vehicle door.

The footage, shot in Toronto, Canada on April 19, captures the moment the cyclist is sent flying as he hits the car door.

The taxi passenger can be seen walking towards the cyclist to check on him.
