In a way or other, both Dev and Sonakshi, needed a third person to help them getting united. Sonakshi was always clear with her feelings. But Dev needed someone else either with him or Sonakshi to understand his feelings.
First it was Natasha. Dev broke his engagement on the day of it, since that made him realize that he loves Sonakshi. There came the iconic confession.
Second time it was Ritwik and Sonakshi’s engagement that couldn’t stop Dev though they had broken up. Even Sonakshi couldn’t see Dev in pain and she came running to him.
After the leap, Sonakshi’s jealously was evident when she saw Dev with another woman. Even though she showed anger, bursting her own heart out infront of the girl to provoke Dev was nothing but her own state of jealousy.
Dev got angry when he saw Sonakshi with Jatin and could not tolerate Sonakshi moving on with her life, though she wasn’t doing so. The whole Jatin saga continued till the Khatri incident opened his eyes.
As a matter of fact, no matter what facade either of them put, they just can not see the other moving on in life with any other partner. That will be the key which will get them together. Even a thought of losing the other to another partner will help them bridge the gaps that they have.

Shaheer Sheikh, Erica Fernandes and Supriya Pilgaonkar play the lead roles. The series is a realistic take on the romantic relationship between Devrath Dixit, a business tycoon and Sonakshi Bose, a Nutritionist Doctor. Their love story and how it impacts the unique, close-knit relationship between Dev and his possessive mother Ishwari is the main theme of the show.
Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi has been dubbed in Tamil as Ini Ellam Vasanthame and broadcast on Polimer TV. Due to Shaheer Sheikh's popularity in Indonesia, the show has also been dubbed in Bahasa as Cinta Perlahan Tumbuh and airs on ANTV.
