Jah Mason is one of the most highly-rated young reggae artists today. He was born in the tribe Gad, in Jamaica, and chose the name Jah Mason, because he sees himself as a builder of righteousness. Aged 30 years, he is part of the David House crew with Capleton, Jah Thunder and Military Man.
His career began under the guidance of reggae superstar Junior Reid, who produced and released Mason's first song "Selassie I Call We", his debut album "Keep Your Joy" in 2002 on the Ghetto Technology label, and this set featured many of his biggest dancehall anthems.
