'Fireman', written and directed by Deepu Karunakaran, features Mammootty in the lead role as a firefighter. The film deals with a novel theme and narrative pattern.
A major fire broke out in the town quite unexpectedly. The movie paints the dangers caused by the fire and the rescue operation that follows.Vijay (Mammootty) is Fire Station master. Vijay and his gang get involved in the process of firefighting to prevent loss of life and the destruction of property and environment.The fire extinguishing procedures are under the leadership of Commissioner Sherin Thomas (Nyla Usha).Unni Mukundan does a major role along with Mammootty.Siddique, Salim Kumar, Kalasala Babu, Harish Peradi, P Sreekumar do the other important roles. Rahul Raj is the music director. 'Fireman' is produced by Milan Jaleel under the banner of Galaxy Films.
