Most Profitable Films of 2017 - Part 1
Half of 2017 is already gone and we had some good and many bad movies coming in the first half. Only a handful few did well and some sprung in a surprise.

Plusses:
The year started of with the clash of Raees and Kaabil. Then Jolly LLB 2 made way for some great entertainment. The Ghazi Attack was not that bad at the box-office, nor were Phillauri and Naam Shabana. Badrinath Ki Dulhania came in like a storm and hit a quick century. April saw the rise of Bahubali with the sequel garnering the best collections in bollywood ever. May was kept calm with the superhit Hindi Medium and the not so friendly Half Girlfriend.
Minuses:
The first notable disaster of 2017 was OK Jaanu followed by small films like Haraamkhor, Iraada, Running Shaadi, Commando 2, Machine, Sweetiee weds NRI, Bank Chor, Behen Hogi Teri, Meri Pyaari Bindu and many more.
The biggest flops though were Rangoon, Noor, Sarkar 3 and Raabta.
