Israel country in the Middle East, located at the eastern end of the Mediterranean Sea. It is bounded to the north by Lebanon, to the northeast by Syria, to the east and southeast by Jordan, to the southwest by Egypt, and to the west by the Mediterranean Sea. Jerusalem is the seat of government and the proclaimed capital, although the latter status has not received wide international recognition. Israel is a small country with a relatively diverse topography, consisting of a lengthy coastal plain, highlands in the north and central regions, and the Negev desert in the south. Running the length of the country from north to south along its eastern border is the northern terminus of the Great Rift Valley.

अमेरिका, रूस और चीन बेशक दुनिया की बड़ी महाशक्तियां हों लेकिन इजरायल से पंगा लेने की जुर्रत ये देश भी नहीं कर पाते। इजरायल ही वो देश है जिससे आईएस जैसा दुर्दांत आतंकी संगठन भी थर्राता है। इजरायल से दुश्मनी को मौत के बराबर माना जाता है। इजरायल की ताकत का अंदाजा इसी से लगाया जा सकता है कि जून 1967 में जब जार्डन, सीरिया और इराक सहित आधा दर्जन मुस्लिम देशों ने एकसाथ इजरायल पर हमला किया तो उसने पलटवार करते ही मात्र छह दिनों में इन सभी को धूल चटा दी थी। उस हार को अरब देश आज तक नहीं भूले हैं। इतिहास में इस घटना को Six Day War के नाम से जाना जाता है। आइए उसी इजरायल की कुछ खूबियों से हम आपको भी रूबरू कराते हैं।
