Tencent’s WeChat Pay is applying for a licence in Malaysia, which would enable users to link their bank accounts to the app, and pay for goods and services in ringgit. Meanwhile, Maybank Investment Bank expects Eco World International to report its maiden profit in the second half of FY18.
