Guatemala’s Volcan de Fuego, or Volcano of Fire, started to erupt on Monday, July 10.The volcano spewed columns of smoke that reached nearly 20,000 feet, according to the National Institute for Seismology, Vulcanology, Meteorology and Hydrology of Guatemala. Volcanic ash spread west-northwest, falling onto nearby communities, such as San Pedro Yepocapa and Alotenango.This is the volcano’s sixth eruption this year, Prensa Libre reported.
