Prince Harry calls lack of HIV education for youth 'totally absurd'

On Monday, Prince Harry spoke about HIV/AIDS education for youth as part of his 'Let Youth Lead' Initiative of Sentebale. “To me it is totally absurd that in today’s world that young people, the first time they know or the first time they hear anything about HIV and AIDS, is probably by the time it is too late." The roundtable discussion was held at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and featured three AIDS activists. All three spoke about their experiences living with HIV and expressed the importance of breaking the stigma associated with the disease. The 'Let Youth Lead' charity, which was co-founded by Prince Harry, has provided HIV-related medical care to over 21,000 adolescents.
