A memorial dedicated to the hundreds of children evacuated during World War II has been unveiled at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire. Former evacuee and television presenter Michael Aspel OBE says he believes the honour is fitting because although child evacuees "weren't heroes" they did have "a traumatic experience."
