Blacksmith on the historical and archaeological holiday in Old Ryazan. At this point in the 13th century there was a city founded in 1095. In 1237 Old Ryazan was the first city to face the Mongol invasion. From 16 to 21 December 1237, the inhabitants of Ryazan heroically defended their city. After it was destroyed by mongols the capital of Ryazan principality moved to Pereyaslavl Ryazansky.
