At Least Two Reported Dead, Others Missing After Flash Flood in Northeast Iran
Two were reported dead and others missing after flooding in the northeastern Golestan Province of Iran on August 11.The Iranian Red Crescent Society reported that the body of a 35-year-old woman from the village of Zarrin Gol was found, but her child and husband were still missing after their car was washed away. A young man was also reported dead after a storm in the Inche Boroun region. Some Iranian news sources said 12 people were killed, while others reported 13, but those numbers were not confirmed.This video shows a flash flood rushing through the town of Ramian in Golestan Province.
