Ocean Evening with Sailboat, a Watercolor painting tutorial

My father-in-law, Bryson Rawn's recreational pleasure was cruising with family or friends of the Southern California coast toward the horizon, toward Catalina Island . Unfortunately, sailing didn't agree with me, but I loved stories, like catching a big Yellowtail, then grilling it while handing out cold ones. Those memories led me to this watercolor.
