Hurricane Harvey slowed down to a tropical storm on 26 August. Because of the storm's slow movement, it dumped a lot of rain in southeast Texas causing significant flooding in the region. Forecasters suspect the storm could stay in the area for the next 4 to 5 days. It could bring up to 40 inches of rain in some spot.
