An awesome video has emerged of science teacher Jacob Strickling shows how to use lemons to charge a mobile phone.
In the footage, shot on July 29 in Australia, Strickling uses two lemons, twelve galvanised screws, a short length of wire and some copper tube to generate enough voltage to charge his phone.
"Each zinc/copper cell creates a voltage of 1 volt. When 12 are wired in series this creates a total of 12 volts which is enough to power the car adaptor for the mobile phone," he wrote online.
